PLFF Engineer

Job Description

  • Proficient in system load calculations and material/equipment sizing for systems including domestic water, fire protection, gas, irrigation, rainwater, and soil & wastewater
  • Understand and apply basic system standards for domestic water, fire protection, fire suppression, gas, irrigation, rainwater, soil & wastewater, and architectural, interior, and structural design
  • Prepare design briefs, select materials, and specify systems
  • Research new technical standards and codes related to the discipline
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisors/management
  • Perform MEP works quantity takeoff
  • Review and check shop drawings, materials for approval, and method statements
  • Understand specialist requirements for fire suppression, gas, irrigation, sewage treatment, and swimming pool systems
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor


Job Requirement

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree in Water Resource Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Exhibit honesty, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality
  • Good command of English communication, both spoken and written
  • Experience in a construction company is an advantage
