MEP QS (BIM) Standardize Team Leader

Job Description

• Lead and mentor a team of QS and BIM specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Oversee team performance and productivity.
• Develop and implement standardized processes for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project valuation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Create and maintain templates, checklists, and guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Leverage BIM technology to streamline quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and project management.
• Collaborate with BIM teams to extract accurate data and generate detailed reports.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards and guidelines for the team.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for MEP systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze tender documents and drawings to understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential cost variances.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize project budgets.
• Track and manage variations and claims.
• Review and analyze contracts to understand obligations and liabilities.
• Manage contract variations and claims, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve contractual disputes.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

Job Requirements

• A recognized bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering field or equivalent 
• A minimum of 7-year experience in the role
• Strong MEP systems and construction process knowledge
• Proficiency in quantity surveying techniques and software
• Perform Complex Tasks on Navisworks Basic, AutoCAD 2D Drafting Basic, and Autodesk Revit Basic
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and contract administration knowledge
• Experience in developing and implementing standardized processes
• Good command of English communication both spoken and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
