MEP Engineering Inspection Manager

Job Description

  • Perform complex tasks related to AutoCAD 2D drafting intermediate.
  • Understand work and process requirements for producing MEP system design drawings and shop drawings.
  • Manage teams for material delivery inspections, MEP services installation inspections, testing, commissioning, and building operation training.
  • Coordinate with other departments, vendors, and suppliers for material submittals.
  • Review and approve material submittals, method of statement submittals, and shop drawing submittals.
  • Understand requirements for producing system designs (ELV, LV, MVAC, PLFF).
  • Analyze clashes in MEP services.
  • Combine MEP quantities and create combined MEP services BIM models.
  • Lead complex tasks related to Revit MEP Intermediate.
  • Implement development improvements and document them.
  • Establish policies and procedures for departmental development improvements.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Job Requirements

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree in MEP Engineering field or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the role (Building Construction)
  • Strong technical background in managing the construction of multi-use projects.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Windows environment, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and a functional level.
  • Ability to work with multi-level and culturally diversified team dynamics

  • Good command of English communication both spoken and written
  • Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
  • Willing to be stationed in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
