Junior PLFF Engineer

Job Description

• Assisting with load calculations and equipment sizing for domestic water, fire protection, gas, irrigation, rainwater, and soil & waste water systems.
• Learning and familiarizing with system standards and basic principles of architectural, interior, and structural design.
• Supporting in the preparation of design briefs, material selection, and system specifications.
• Assisting in understanding specialist requirements for fire suppression, gas, irrigation, sewage treatment, and swimming pool systems.
• Conducting basic research on new technical standards and codes in the field.
• Assisting in reviewing shop drawings, materials for approval, and method statements.
• Supporting in MEP works quantity takeoff.
• Developing basic proficiency in Autodesk Revit for implementation under supervision.
• Taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor

Job Requirement

• A recognized bachelor’s degree in Water Resource Engineering or equivalent 
• A minimum of 1-year experience in the role is an added advantage
• Good command of English communication both spoken and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Autodesk and Revit
• Experience in Design and Build Company will be an advantage
