Junior MEP Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

  • Possess basic knowledge of quantity take-off related to the MEP system
  • Collaborate with various company departments as needed for project execution
  • Compile and organize subcontractors' and suppliers' contact information
  • Track design changes and actual work modifications, documenting all alterations
  • Monitor subcontractor work within the contracted scope for variations and EOT valuation when necessary
  • Assist the site Quantity Surveyor in preparing monthly interim progress claims for Clients and subcontractors, participating in finalizing accounts
  • Coordinate thoroughly to ensure seamless integration of all MEP services with other disciplines/trades
  • Maintain reliability and consistency in all project stages
  • Adhere to ethical standards in executing contracture claims, making decisions based on objective and defendable grounds
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

 

Job Requirement

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in the similar role
  • Good command of English communication both spoken and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Exhibit a proactive and initiative-taking approach, along with attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
