Junior Data Scientist

Job Description

• Collaborate closely with product design and engineering teams to understand their needs
• Develop and manage databases, ensuring data is organized in an easily readable format
• Conduct analysis to evaluate data quality and significance
• Create clear analysis reports for stakeholders, outlining data-analysis steps for informed decision-making
• Identify valuable data sources and assist in automating collection processes
• Extract usable data using data mining techniques
• Utilize analytics to support business processes and derive meaningful insights
• Process, clean, and validate data for analysis
• Present information effectively using data visualization techniques
• Contribute to enhancing data collection procedures for analytic systems
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

Job Requirement

• A recognized bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Possess strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Demonstrate competence in data analysis and design
• Familiarity with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
• Basic experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
• Proficiency in using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and basic understanding of SQL
• Exposure to programming languages (eg, Java/Python) is a plus
• Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
