Data Scientist

Job Description

• Help our company analyze trends to make better decisions.
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
• Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
• Using machine learning tools to select features and create and optimize classifiers.
• Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirement

• A recognized bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A minimum of 5-year experience in the role
• Good command of English communication, both spoken and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of data mining
• Knowledge of Software Engineering Background
• Knowledge of machine learning and operations research
• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra, multivariable calculus)
• Analytical mind
• Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
