CMED Construction Proudly Awarded as the Design and Build Main Contractor of OCIC Office Building

CMED has recently been awarded as the Design and Build Main Contractor for OCIC Office Building Project located in Chroy Changvar, a fast developing suburban area with rapid business growth to the East of Phnom Penh. With a total floor area of approximately 27,000sqm, OCIC Office Building is a 19 storey development which consists of a multi-storey carpark, retail spaces, open offices, green areas, meeting & conference rooms, and other amenities. The design of this building has also incorporated “Passive Solar” design principle, considering the most appropriate building orientation together with the use of selected type of glazing, façade lourves, and screen system in order to reduce direct sun and heat transmission into the building. This approach in return would potentially improve on energy consumption efficiency to the building. This new construction project shall be scheduled to start by Q4 of 2017 and to be put into service by mid of 2020.
