Architect Inspection Team Leader

Job Description

  • Check design drawings and report to the direct supervisor the findings.
  • Check coordination among Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings at the design drawing stage.
  • Check coordination among Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings completion.
  • Keep Standard Detail Inventory from design projects and Shop Drawing files.
  • Work out and standardize Design details for all projects.
  • Lead team to perform inspections to ensure the work output matches the design requirements, quality, and standard. 
  • Review the site document related.
  • Follow the planning breakdown to be completed and assist the team in executing proper construction sequences. 
  • Follow construction schedule with ARC, MEP, Structure, and other External Specialists following both Design and Project Master schedules. 
  • Lead team to identify structure, MEP, and Architecture clashing problems on site.
  • Review and check output to ensure the quality of work done is according to the requirements and standards of the company.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Job Requirements

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree in Architect Engineering or equivalent 
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in the role
  • Highly proficient with technical writing and discipline-specific design software (i.e., AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp)
  • Good command of English communication both spoken and written
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy and precision 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
