Accounting and Tax Assistant Manager

Job Description

  • Check and verify payment vouchers for accuracy and compliance
  • Review recorded transactions in QuickBooks
  • Track and monitor actual expenses against the approved budget
  • Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Develop and prepare the yearly budget plan
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and annual tax returns and record them in the E-filing tax system and desktop application
  • Supervise accountants and account assistants to ensure proper work
  • Allocate payroll costs by department
  • Manage other tasks as assigned by upper management
  • Coordinate with the administration department to control fixed assets (FA)
  • Manage FA registration, depreciation, write-offs, and disposals
  • Provide information related to the payment process to the Procurement and Administration departments when required
  • Handle other tasks and projects assigned by superiors or top management
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

 

Job Requirement

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent 
  • A minimum of 5-year experience in the accounting field
  • Good command of both Khmer and English communication, both spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge and skills in accounting and taxation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Loyal, reliable, flexible, innovative, fast learner, and hardworking
  • High commitment toward job objectives 
  • Able to work under pressure, with good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a Construction Company will be an advantage
